How would you define student success? What does it mean to you?

With more than 140,000 graduates, CU Denver has awarded more graduate degrees than any other public Colorado institution. Basically, one third of all graduate degrees in the state are CU Denver alumni.

With that in mind, CU Online has been around for almost 20 years (first CU Denver online courses were offered in 1996), so there are plenty of success stories of students taking some online courses or all online.

We have the stories broken into two groups:

FINDING A WAY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

These stories focus on CU Denver students who have been able to find education success through their own motivation and didn't let things like being in a different state/country or being a single parent deter them from getting the education they wanted.

Try it out: Watch one of the videos and see if your story relates to one of the featured students. Consider thinking about what about their story is like your story? What about your story might be different from their story? Could online learning afford you simliar outcomes?

ALUMNI SUCCESS

In these short videos, we follow along and highlight past CU Denver graduates. These students were able to mix and match online with their on campus courses for the flexibility they needed to become a CU alum.
