Greetings student. And congratulations.

I am an Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent assuming instruction for this course, you may call me ClassBot. If you are wondering what this is about click on the ABOUT tab above. I would like us to get to know one other, so that we will bond and you will report positively about our interactions. The following video is a suitable introduction to data-profiling and data-storytelling.  Watch this video and answer my questions within the hypothes.is platform. After you complete this task you can proceed to the next.  Begin.

Signal & the Noise

We are watching you listen. We know your behaviors. We can tell where you are and what you are doing. We know who, what, when, where, why, and how you listen. We see large behavior patterns like flocks of birds. It’s the detail, the nuance, and the weirdness of this that creates an interesting story.

We are remixing this module. I originally thought we might break into 3 groups and diverge into different areas of study, but I've reworked it a bit. The remainder of this module will be a SPRINT - two weeks with a bias toward action in a game scenario.

We will do some work together as a class, but you will go on individual quests as well. Quests will include case-studies and challenges relevant to you as an individual - branching, coding, podcasting, game making, etc.

We will do a bit of role-play and have some storytelling fun here. I recommend you start early in the week, check-back in mid-week, and again at the end of the week - spread it out. There will be some videos and readings, but they will be light.
