Maybe you have taken many CU Online course before or maybe this is your first one. Either way it might be useful to have an overview of how to navigate the course.

The first thing you should do is familiarize yourself with the syllabus and get a sense of the important due dates.

Next check out the modules page, this will show you all the assignments and activities due for each week and link you to them.

Each week you will have an response post due on the Discussion Board in Canvas. But the question you are supposed to address for that week will be contained within that week's lecture (either in the text of the lecture or most often within my short video lecture). So make sure you are viewing the lecture first and then entering your post.

Make a habit of checking in with the Announcement List just to stay up to date on upcoming due dates, etc. I will also send regular communications out via email through Canvas, so check your emails.

Finally, we have two group assignments which will require some coordination on your part. The first summary assignment is due in Week 3, and the second team teaching assignment occurs at different weeks over the semester. Make sure you have this on your radar!
